AURA was founded in 2018 by a group of passionate Ugandan perfumers who believed that the richness of Uganda's natural landscape deserved to be captured in fragrance. From the volcanic soils of the Rwenzori Mountains to the tea plantations of Kigezi, Uganda's biodiversity is extraordinary.
We began in a small studio in Kololo, Kampala, with nothing more than an idea, a few essential oils, and an unshakeable belief that Africa's finest fragrances didn't need to be imported — they could be born right here.
